There's a whole lot more to do in Enderal besides these character quests, but if you're particularly interested in character relationships/development in your rpgs (which too few of them do very well, imo), then I get where you're coming from.

So is there any point in still playing the game? The only character I have felt any connection to would be Esme who is still sitting in Duneville Inn hoping to leave Enderal. No dialogue there that felt even remotely satisfying. again she doesn't want any companionship and is dealing with her traumas. and being locked in aside room while it all happened. So I feel No connection to Jespar at all.Ĭalia with her black stone quest. Huh.Ĭhase after Jespar and have the chat in the brothel with him to reveal all his dirty secrets. I felt no connection to him at all.įor the veiled lady to then resurrect Jespar for me to make up for that stowaway dying. that I supposedly had a close connection to the person on the original ship. However all the dialogue options, revolved around. okay his sister killed him and had him burning continuously. I've reached the part of game where I have retrieved the Black gems with Jespar and Calia.

"We talked all night, until the sun rose the following day. She's one of Enderal's crown jewels, imo. It's kind of a bittersweet acknowledgement to make, but I wouldn't mod or change a single thing having to do with Esme: she's awesome, but I think she's best left exactly as she was created. That having been said, I honestly don't believe I'd feel the same way toward Esme if it was possible for me to 'romance' her via the same type of character quest line that's possible with the other two. Or would there be a mod to make a romance with Esme possible?Įsme is (hands down) my absolute FAVORITE character in Enderal.Īdventuring with her and getting to know her has been THE best part of my time in Enderal so far (which is very much how I felt about questing with Katria when I played Skyrim) - I just hated for it to be 'over' when that time finally did roll around. Still hoping that she will have more than the 2 lines of dialogue each time I visit her.

With her having the best female (Misfit ) outfit thus far in the game. With her being heartbroken I felt sure she needed to be rescued. Seemed very sad to leave her in Duneville.
